We cannot recommend Dr. Lunsford enough! He worked with my son and brought his SAT score up so that he qualified for The 100% Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. What is interesting is that even though he specializes in Math, and my son even got him to help with his calculus homework on occasion, the biggest jump in his score was in the Reading and Writing section. My son really connected with Dr. Lunsford and feels like he can be an ally in his education, even in college, if that makes sense. Money and time well spent!

Dr. Lunsford was encouraging and motivating to our son who was studying to increase his SAT score. Dr. Lunsford provided the perfect amount of accountability and informative instruction. He was fun and engaging during their weekly sessions. Our son was able to increase his SAT score by a huge margin of 160 points from his previous score of 1400. I cannot say enough about the great experience I had having Dr. Lunsford's help with multivariate statistics. It was impossible to find a local statistics tutor that knew the SPSS program and could provide tutoring at the PhD level. I highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with statistics. We were shooting for a "B" as Dr. Lunsford reminded me that a "B" is a PhD, but I ended the semester with an "A". I learned so much and it all made sense which is not easy to say about statistics! Dr. Lunsford is an excellent tutor for any type of math at any age level. My two boys had a low to mid B in AP geometry. One is in 9th grade and the other is in 10th. Their goal is to finish with straight A’s every semester. We hired Dr Lunsford to assist them in understanding how to work through the geometry problems better, and he did. Both of my boys finished with an A in the class. My boys stated that Dr. Lunsford is very smart and can work through any problems you put in front of him. They also believe the way he runs the tutor session is very effective.

Dr. Lunsford is an amazing tutor. He was able to help me with GRE math and equations that I had completely forgotten about or was never taught in high school! He broke down equations and retaught me easier ways to solve difficult problems that my teachers had neglected to teach me during my primary school years. Outstanding tutor! I wish I had found Dr. Lunsford earlier on in my Calculus I class, but nonetheless the couple of sessions we had together in preparation for my final exam made the difference! I received an A on the final thanks in large part for his expertise in breaking down a few difficult concepts that I had been hung up on. Dr. Lunsford is extremely knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to ensure I understand the underlying principles behind the calculations.
